President

Andy Dooly is the President of Magnolia Insurance Solutions and brings nearly 15 years of experience working for a large national health insurance company. Throughout his career, he has been known for being highly available and committed to helping others succeed in achieving their goals. At Magnolia, Andy continues his hands-on approach by building strong partnerships with agents and providing the resources and support they need to grow their businesses.

As a proud graduate of NC State with an MBA in Health Care Management from ECU, Andy cheers for both schools, but when they face each other, it is all about the Pack. Outside of work, he is a husband, a proud father to four amazing kids, and someone who strives to live by his faith every day.

Jen Dooly

VP of Operations

Jen Dooly is the Vice President of Operations at Magnolia Insurance Solutions, helping agents build a strong foundation for success. She leads onboarding, contracting, and agent support, working closely with agents to ensure a smooth and confident start to their careers. Drawing on her background in recruiting and training, Jen brings a service-first approach to operations. Whether assisting with certifications, sorting out contracting details, or answering questions, she focuses on making the agent experience simple and supportive.

Jen studied at Meredith College, where she developed her passion for service and leadership. Today, she stays active in her local church community and is committed to serving others both in and out of the office. Outside of work, Jen stays busy raising four young children and sneaking in a good book whenever she gets the chance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Each carrier is different. Some are very quick, while others may take a bit little longer due to the requirement of carrier certifications. Typically, it takes less than a month to be fully contracted. If you are already appointed with an FMO and wish to transfer to us, it could take up to a few months if your current upline isn’t willing to grant your release.

You will need your state health insurance license along with Medicare and LTC licenses, and Errors & Omissions coverage. We can guide you through obtaining the proper licenses for your state and ensuring you don’t overpay for E&O coverage. If you have an agency, you will also need a state agency license in each state where you conduct business. Reach out to us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to get you started.

We will work with you to get released from your current FMO and assist with transferring your contracts.

Absolutely! We’d be thrilled to have agents in your downline. We enjoy helping agents grow their business into an agency and would love to be a part of that journey with you. We can work with you on that process and offer a competitive commission structure to help you brand your agency.

Each carrier has a slightly different schedule for paying initial and renewal commissions. We prefer that you are paid directly from the carriers if they allow it. That way you are compensated as quickly as possible!

Support and training are where we distinguish ourselves from the competition. We will ensure you have all the training, tools, and confidence to make your first sale!

We are happy to work with all agents, whether brand new or highly experienced. Our agents range from newcomers to established agency owners with years of experience. We’re here to help you no matter where you are in your insurance sales journey.

In our experience, there’s always something you can do better to further expand your business that you haven’t thought of or had the resources to do. We will routinely communicate with all agencies and independent agents to identify your goals so we can help you achieve them and create new goals. This not only helps you grow but also helps us grow as an FMO to ensure we offer everything needed by our downline.
